Papa Pilgrim body has passed on to Zion. His beautiful, loving and generous spirit remains here with us. An ambassador for humanity. A champion for elder abuse. A role model for Reggae DJ's. A visionary for Grassroots Reggae. A spiritualist and friend. We loved you, and we knew beyond a doubt that you loved us. You lived well and loved well. What a fine life you lived! Your dedication to forwarding Reggae Music and human rights and justice, you were my idol. When you immediately understood the purpose and message of my music and featured my songs regularly on Nite Roots, you answered my prayers of finding a DJ who'd champion the cause. Our relationship was a special one as you had such respect and admiration for "Break the Silence - Stop the Violence" relaying to me your personal experiences advocating for the victims of elder abuse. But most of all, it was the special remark you made to me at a break we took outside at Club Ibex in San Jose. You said, "Anna Fisher I love your music and what you stand for without a doubt, but what really uplifts me about you is your spirit, I could watch you dance ALL day long, it makes me so happy!!!" PP, I never forgot that and everytime I hit the dance floor since, I've thought of you. You left me with an assurance that everything is going to be alright". May Jah bless you at that big jam session in Zion. This morning, I visited my RAW '99 photo album in my Yahoo group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/annafisher) where there are a couple of pictures of you but my favorite is the one of you proudly adorning the San Jose monkey you had been awarded for your years of service as Founding President of Reggae Ambassadors Worldwide. Your expression is priceless! Your motto: "Don't Watch Us - Grow With Us! Reggae Ambassadors Worldwide Forwarding the Reggae Vibe ... Everytime" Thank you for touching so many thousands of lives, your body has served its purpose but your spirit will live on in all you have sincerely touched. You requested no memorial service, but I'm certain that we have not reached the end as much as we have a new beginning as Jah never closes one door without opening another. As Ambassadors, we will proudly carry the torch of the spark that YOU ignited... My prayers go out to your soulmate, Wendy. Please don't forget our love for you, Wendy in these challenged times. Jah Bless. Peace, One Love and Light, Anna Fisher (#1224)
