From Wendy Russell he is always my guiding light too, in my early pirate radio days i would send him my show's tape recordings to get his feedback... he always said nice things about them and i am sure they did not deserve those nice words in those early years, but he always encouraged me forward .... at the raw conference in salt lake city i went to his radio station and he let me share his radio station's on-air time as equally as all the big-time radio DJs there too... every week, even now after all these weeks and years past those days, to this very day, i think to myself, i must send him a show cassette so he can see my improvement after all these years, on the radio, tell him how he helped me all those years... see what he can suggest... after typing those words i see again how i expected things to stay the same, to be constant, when we should move forward and act on things, to say those words, to act on those feelings, to give that compliment or respect. since i am a radio dj, i think in songs... and i am thinking of della grant's "the last goodbye" wendy russell, raw124 (Lady Irie in those days long gone) Jah Guides
