I was very sad to hear the news of Papa's passing just now. I'm sure you
are swamped, but I wanted to reach out across spaceand time and reconnect
for just a moment. What a special gift it was to know Papa Pilgrim. I'll
never forget meeting Pilgrim in SLC in the early 90's. He provided
consistent support to Root 1 and was an old soul mate to Jerry,
Wallace, and many of our Austin reggae veterans. He will be missed, but I
think the force of his inspiration will reverberate for a long time
yet...and so the only loss is the physical. Know that my thoughts are with
you and the whole RAW family, and especially Wendi. Please pass along my
deepest sympathy, for on my new path I have sadly lost touch with many
dear friends.
