‘Ambassador David’ David Bauman Committed Reggae Fans’ Coordinator Annual Report for 2007 Greetings fellow RAWsters, 2007 was a busy and crazy year. I sit here wondering where did it go and did I move my business Ambassador David’s Production LLC in the right direction? Sometimes sitting in a club at 2 AM with a two hour drive home - I wonder if I made the right decision leaving my 9 to 5 job? But as I look around me and see people having a great time and living the message of Reggae music, my question is answered. I worked with twenty festivals this past summer, using RAW performing artists whenever possible. During the winter months I’m promoting and producing Reggae events in the Kalamazoo, MI. U.S.A area. "Jamaica Me Crazy" event at Czar’s 505 in St. Joseph, MI U.S.A. now in it’s 4th year continues to be successful. Ambassador David’s Productions LLC continues to grow with every free minute used to promote my own company. There never seems to be enough hours in my day. Highlight from 2007 were the "Reggae Legend’s Birthday Bash" formerly the Bob Marley Birthday Bash at the State Theatre in Kalamazoo and two mini festivals (one day 8 hours) here in Southwest Michigan. All three did very well and we will be expanding them to bigger and better things this year. All new committed fans of Reggae Ambassadors Worldwide did receive a welcome aboard packages from me. These packages help the new RAW members attain the maximum benefit from joining RAW. My package does encourage all new committed fans to contact me with any question they might have concerning RAW. I have also contacted some new members by phone welcoming them and many more through e-mail trying to give RAW that personal touch. I did receive several calls on how to adopt a RAW band and how to bring more live Reggae to their area. As from the previous year I have the same concern that maybe RAW isn’t offering enough to satisfy their needs? I’m also concerned with what we have to offer our off line members. I continue to sell RAW to those whose paths I cross in my daily running. One frustration is that as I have become more involved with promoting and producing shows I have less time for the promotion of RAW, which is so dear to my heart. But I find in most of my Reggae conversations, we somehow end up talking about RAW. On the personal side, my families (three stepsons) are growing so fast. I still am attending a billion, basketball, football and baseball games. I continue to coach basketball after a 27 year absence, coaching my youngest son Ryan. I must admit that I have enjoyed every last one of them, even those early Saturday morning games after getting in at 4 am from a show the night before. My three stepsons Tyler (T.J.), Dylan (Dread) and Ryan (Rasta) have made me very proud. And their mother has been very supportive of this Committed Reggae fan that is trying to make a living from the music he loves so much here in the Midwest. Jah Guide, (PP) Ambassador David RAW #5
