Tom Pearson's '08 Agenda

If elected as Membership Director, my agenda would be:

1) finalize fomatting issues with new database software. If there are any
experienced FileMaker Pro (8) users out there who could help, please get in
touch.   <tap@guam.net>

2) All renewal information was lost in my computer crash of 2007, so I will
try to reconstruct that info to the best of my abilities.

3) finalize processing of new and renewing memberships that have come in
since the computer crash of '07

4) get out NEW MEMBERS & CHANGES, the Email RAWster, the URL RAWster, and
RAW DEMOGRAPHICS on a more timely basis. I hope to do that monthly as soon
as the database formatting issues are settled.

5) recruit a team of volunteers to help with maintaining the above "RAWster"
lists

6) recruit volunteers who can make phone calls when a member has lost touch
with RAW in hopes of updating email or snail mail addresses with the aim to
re-establish contact with members who are currently "LOST"

7) reach out to all members currently listed in the database as to their
intent regarding RAW membership. Some members have not renewed, but also
have not specifically communicated to me that they want to drop their
membership. From past experience, I have learned that many have just
forgotten to renew.

8) start archiving information on no-longer-active members for future
contact.

9) Collect ideas from members as to how we con increase membership

10) LONGER RANGE PLANS: investigate the possibility of forming regional RAW
Chapters - a long term dream of mine
