For Immediate Release (Miami, FL) - Eight76 Records, in association with the Caribbean Entertainment Group, delivered on their pledge to donate proceeds from ticket sales to the JURA (Jamaica United Relief Association from the successful "Night of Serious Vibes" concert in downtown Miami at the James L. Knight International Center on September 17. The donation check for $2400.00 was presented late last week to JURA representatives, Joann Seaga and Angella Lindo, by Eight76 recording artist Fyah Blaze and VIBEZ 101.9 FM's Princess K. This was the first of many hurricane relief effort benefits that will take place sponsored by various community groups in the So. Florida area over the next few months. The September 17th live concert was headlined by three of reggae's superstar artists: Luciano, Barrington Levy, and Half Pint. Other acts on the lineup included Professor Nuts, Mikey General, Dean Fraser, Evette, and Fyah Blaze. Florida, Jamaica and the Caribbean basin has sustained major damage form the recent hurricanes in the area over the six weeks and major emergency relief efforts were needed. Eight76 Records was compelled to aid in the relief efforts are needed for the re-building and aid for those left in the wake of these major hurricanes. # ## ## ## ## # The lyrical genius of reggae deejay, Professor Nuts, offers his own comical relief from the recent hurricane season with his new single, "Everyman A Bore," on Eight76 Records new Category 4 rhythm.
