Back in '80-'81 I was blessed to be a guest in the Marley household in Miami, Florida, where Bob had secured a beautiful home for his mom, his sister Pearl, and two brothers, Richard and Anthony. That house was like his refuge away from his hectic tour schedule. At that time I was a struggling artist not yet fully realizing my mission in life, but JAH know everything even when we don't. It was around the Marley family that I learned how to put my thoughts and feelings into WORDS backed with SOUND backed with POWER; It was at this time that I painted the "1st Supper" in Mother B's home. I will never forget the day Mother B. came back to Miami from the hospital in Germany after Bob's passing...now that is a strong, courageous and powerful woman...I remember her saying, "that poor young man, he was in so much pain, but my son isn't just any ordinary somebody, 'im is not just a musician you know, 'im deh 'pon a mission sent directly from God". She went on to say, "I was singing to him you know, because he was in so much pain, and I was singing, 'JAH-JAH lift him in your arms into Zion, JAH-JAH lift him in your arms into Zion'; and you know, what that young man did, even though 'im was in so much pain? He stopped me and said, 'Mama, if you going sing, don't say JAH-JAH because when you say JAH-JAH you mek it sound like a joke business'. You know what else 'im seh? 'im seh, 'Mama, if you going sing at all say Emperor Haile Selassie, for it is H.I.M. who is I Father'. That is how powerful my son is". To this day, I have never forgotten those words, and they have always sustained me throughout all these years with a calm, tranquil and serene inner strength as the supreme conqueror against all odds that I have ever encountered in life, and I have had some "doozies" believe you me. It is as though they were spoken to me yesterday...thank you Mother B., thank you Brother Nesta (this is the name Bob is called by his family), thank you Emperor Haile Selassie I. I have never told anyone about that experience before now, but there is a right time and a right place for each and every little thing. Even throughout the pain of his final hours, brother Nesta still had the strength, the courage and the presence of mind to hold on to his convictions, and to share those words of wisdom with his beloved mother in order to keep her strong in the FAITH OF RASTAFARI. Mother B. in turn shared that experience with me to keep me strong in the FAITH OF RASTAFARI, and now it's my turn to share it with you all in order to keep you all strong in the FAITH OF RASTAFARI. So to all the Children of Rastafari out there I say unto you, whenever the inquisitive ones, or the mockers come up to you and ask you, "Who is JAH?!", never be so afraid, nor so uncertain, nor so unsure, that you end up saying, "JAH is Jehovah, or JAH is Yahweh, or JAH is Yeshuah", for then is the right time to take courage like brother Nesta did even up until his last remaining few hours upon the Face of the Earth, look them straight in the eye and say calmly and proudly, "JAH is Emperor Haile Selassie I, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah", for without any apology, the MESSIAH HAS COME!!! So this is the time for us to LIVE UP JAH CHILDREN with all of our might! Don't just take the name of our Lord God in vain and say, "Selasaie this" and "Selassie that" if ye do not truly have the divine love of JAH in your hearts and souls, for Our Father is depending upon I 'n I to truly free I 'n I selves from Babylon's egotistical illusions, and it's not about, "Selassie is my God, so I am automatically better than thou"; for this is the regressive and dogmatic ways of the "War-God religions" of the counter-cultures of the old millennium, and I 'n I do not want to be repeating the mistakes of the past, seen?! for that is only "one step forward, and two steps back business", seen?! a complete waste of time and energy, and life is much too short to be spinning I 'n I wheels in this time. Therefore my Brothers and Sisters, when I 'n I utter the divine names, "SELASSIE I" and " JAH RASTAFARI", I 'n I should know that these names truly, in this time of here and now, represent the divine love in our hearts towards ourselves and equally towards our fellow man AND woman, it's about the divine honesty with ourselves and equally towards our fellow man AND woman, it's about the divine respect towards ourselves and equally towards our fellow man AND woman, it's about clean hands and clean hearts and good living with one another, it's about compassion and sharing and caring, it's about true subservience to the divine will of H.I.M. (His Imperial Majesty). For the Most High God, JAH Rastafari, is a caring, sharing, peace-loving and compassionate God who does not believe in the misconceptions of that outdated and backward "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" mentality of that old "War-God" of the old millennium. He is the modern Defender of His Faith and of His Kingdom, and yet He is the Ancient of Days, He is the humble lion who will "turn the other cheek" wherever possible, but He will not allow Himself and His People to be slaughtered like the sacrificial lamb of yesteryear this time around...Selah! Now having said all that, let me pose this question to our readers...What's in a holiday?! It seems that these days there is a holiday for almost each and every little occasion, and if there isn't, then one is "mysteriously" made up "out of the blue" so to speak. There are so many "holidays" in fact that sometimes it seems like one great big very well scripted "Holly-daze" (as in "Hollywood-daze")...Why is this do you suppose?! Could the answer indeed and in fact be "big business" which in turn translates into "big bucks" $$$?! Let's see, right after Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza in December, there is New Years Day and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in January, there's Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day, Washington's Birthday, Lincoln's Birthday, and President's Day in February, followed by St. Patrick's Day and Ash Wednesday in March, and Good Friday, Palm Sunday, Easter Monday and Jewish Passover in April, then their is Mother's Day, Memorial Day, and Cinco de Mayo in May, and Father's Day and Flag Day in June, followed by Independence Day in July, and Coast Guard Day as well as Twins Day in August, Labor Day, Grandparents Day, and the Jewish New Year in September, the infamous Columbus Day, Yom Kippur, and Halloween in October, let's not forget Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving Day in November (although the Native Americans may consider this day as "Thanks-taking")...now after all that ladies and gentlemen, the annual cycle repeats. Whew! that's a lot of "holly-daze"! So many in fact that the very essence of what a holiday is really supposed to be about has lost its significance due to the hungry pursuit of material gain by big business. Who cares anyway?! That's a good question, for the vast majority of people I know in this "corporate counter-culture" are so bored by their jobs anyway that the only day they really care about is "TGIF"...THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!!! Give me my paycheck and I'm outta here!!! What a "life", eh?! The word "holiday" in it's original form is really based on the combination of two separate words, HOLY and DAY. Hence the true essence of a so-called "holiday" is really a HOLY-DAY!!! and should be treated with reverence, for it's a little bit different than a get-away weekend "vacation" in Vegas, get it?! Great! now I said all that to say this, what could be a greater HOLY-DAY than the day that the Messiah returned to Earth in the LATTER DAYS (of the OLD MILLENNIUM that is), only to reign supreme over our minds, hearts and souls in the NEW MILLENNIUM...This then would be the HOLY-DAY of HOLY-DAYS, the Big-Daddy of all HOLY-DAYS. Now, on that note, I am wondering if there is something I missed in this age of lightning fast "cyber-news"; for even the Book of Revelation states that the Messiah would return in the LATTER DAYS (or the "closing days" of the old millennium, which is to say the Age of Pisces)...Remember people, the symbol which we see all over the place that represents Jesus is the "fish", and this "fish" also is the symbol of the Age of Pisces, the "Age" or "Era" which Jesus is the RIGHTFUL RULER over, and the "Age" or "Era" which God's Beloved Sun/Son is now exiting from...you had all better wake up, My People, and smell the roses, better yet, let's smell some jasmine instead (enough roses), ha-ha! ;0)... Revelation reveals the truth if you are really comprehending exactly what it is you are reading when you do take the time to read; for it states that the Messiah would not come this time as a lamb to be slaughtered (by the imperial powers of Rome), but rather He would appear as a Conquering Lion to stand against the mis-teachings and misconceptions of those who would continue to use "God's" name to belittle the righteous and correct teachings of the Rainbow Kingdom of the Living God! Once again, the Book of Revelation states that His name would be "terrible and dreadful" in the ears of the heathen. These are the words of the Bible, the Holy Book handed down to us by those who held our forefathers in slavery. I have got to stress that point, for these words are not my words but rather it's the inspired word of the God worshipped by our Colonialist "masters" in a time not so long ago, and by their descendants even still in this time of right here and now. In fact, this is the same God that supposedly told the Semitic Chaldeans (much, much later known as the Israelites) to chase the Hamitic Canaanites (later known as the Watusi and Zanzibar tribes of Africa) from out of their traditionally sacred birthlands (today known as "Israel"), the same God who supposedly told them that it was the destiny of these Hamitic African tribes to be the servants and handmaids of their brethren, the same God who supposedly told the Colonialists that it was OK to chase the red man from his traditionally sacred birthlands and to enslave Africans because it was their "biblical destiny" anyway, the same God who supposedly told the British that it was OK to send their convicts to Australia to rape and pillage the traditionally sacred birthlands of the original Australian Aborigines, the same God who is supposedly even motivating George W. to invade the traditionally sacred birthlands of the Iraqis even still in this time. All I can say to that is, if such a "God" does exist and the Pisces Age is officially drawing to a close, then thank the TRUE and LIVING GOD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS that such a "God's" time is officially over by the SACRED AND DIVINE LAW OF NATURE AND GOD'S UNIVERSE!!! for this is the only LAW which I allow to majestically govern my life, for it is of the true HIGHER ORDER of the TRUE SUPREME COURT!!! For I have two very beautiful and blessed children, and I know that the TRUE AND LIVING GOD that I 'n I, the Children of Rastafari, worship did not bring them to this beautiful PLANET EARTH to be the servants and handmaids of any man, woman or child...Selah!!! Now as some of you know, I was raised as a Roman Catholic, and attended other Christian churches as well that were of the Anglican, Methodist and Baptist persuasions. The message was always basically the same, "Christ died for our sins" and "Christ is coming! Christ is coming!"; and wouldn't you know it, the "message" is exactly the same to this very day. This is how these "churches" stay in the "God-business" (there goes that word again, "business"). That's like telling people that Christ already died for their sins so they are now "pure" no matter what. This is one big reason why we have so many mis-guided child molesting priests and greedy warmongering politicians, and crazy BTK serial-maniacs out there...BTK was a deacon in his "church" for God's sake! They all think that Christ died for all their sins so they are basically "sinless" no matter what they do now. They think that they can do anything in life then just accept Christ as their Lord and Savior and they are automatically "saved"...poor lost, misguided souls. For some reason, the singer Madonna just flashed across my mind, hmmm...Ms. all of a sudden "holier than thou", wasn't she the one I saw tonguein' Britney not so long ago on national television as a last ditch effort to get her steadily waning "ratings" back up in the eyes of the masses?! or are my eyes prematurely failing me?! JAH know that I am not perfect, but please girlfriend, keep it real! All we can do is truly pray for all the lost souls out there in hopes of them realizing the error of their ways before their end of days, and so that their offspring (if any) may find their way HOME to the TRUE and LIVING GOD OF CREATION before they end up on similar paths of illusion and delusion; for it is we ourselves (meaning "everyone") as the LIVING SONS AND DAUGHTERS of the LIVING GOD of the RAINBOW KINGDOM who are ultimately and solely responsible for each and every little choice and action in our lives. It is up to us to allow the LIVING GOD to humbly guide our lives and direct our paths BEFORE we succumb to regressive, cold-blooded and reptilian mis-behavior; for this is the only way for MANKIND to truly defeat the sin and ignorance of the mis-technological counter-culture that we find ourselves in today. Again, the Book of Revelation states that Christ the Lamb was known as, "the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords". On November 2nd, 1930, Ras Tafari Makonnen of Ethiopia was crowned as the KING OF KINGS, LORD OF LORDS, CONQUERING LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH; for this is the true title of our Christ who returned to PLANET EARTH as the Conquering Lion in this time of right here and now to conquer all forms of brutality and spiritual wickedness, for this is NOT the Lamb who came again to be slaughtered!!! Remember this popular saying my brothers and sisters and remember it well like you never did before, "one time shame on you, two times shame on me...". It was on that day, November 2nd, 1930, that RAS TAFARI did declare to the rest of the world that He was the returned and resurrected SON OF GOD and the LIVING GOD OF ANCIENT DAYS manifested in human flesh. From that day on He was known as Emperor Haile Selassie I, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah. At that point He did not have to say, "I am the Son of God" for it was already obvious by His coronation to all who beheld that "little man", H.I.M. (His Imperial Majesty) on the day of His CROWNING GLORY!!! In other words, Jesus Christ as the RIGHTFUL RULER of the old millennium we are now leaving (or the approximately 2,000 year Age of Pisces) has now become Selassie Christ as the RIGHTFUL RULER of the new millennium we are now approaching (or the approximately 2,000 year Age of Aquarius). Look at it this way, "...if Jesus Christ was a 1920s Model-T Ford, then King Selassie I is a year 2000 BMW..." (words to a new Jahmark & the Soulshakers song to be released on the upcoming 2006 double album, MISCONCEPTION). This does not mean that Jesus was not once Earth's Rightful Ruler in His time, but in this time it is Selassie I who is Earth's Rightful Ruler. It's the same way that Ford had to make way for BMWs and Toyota, so it is that Jesus has to make way for Selassie in order for life to truly progress to a higher frequency and vibration for ALL MANKIND! 2000 years ago the times called for Jesus and so He appeared, while in the HERE AND NOW, the times call for Selassie I and so He appeared, get it?! seems pretty straightforward and simple to me...make no apologies my brothers and sisters, for CHRIST HAS COME! CHRIST HAS COME! What an exciting time to be living in, don't you think?! And yet our "Sunday morning preachers" are still talking about, "Christ is coming", for the RISEN AND RESURRECTED CHRIST is apparently not to their liking...something smells very familiar and similar to the way how the Romans of 2,000 years ago treated Jesus, along with their cohorts, the "Jews who are not the Jews" (again, these are the words of Christ not mine). Before Bob Marley went solo, one of the most famous songs of the original Wailin' Wailers (Bob, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer) was (and still is) GET UP, STAND UP! One of the verses to this song goes like this, "...we're sick and tired of your ism-schism game, dying and going to heaven in Jesus' name, we know and we overstand... almighty God is a living man, you can fool some people some time but you can never fool all the people all of the time, now you see the light, stand up for your rights...get up stand up! stand up for your rights! get up stand up! don't give up the fight!...". Now in the same way that Jesus Christ, being a Jew, did not manifest in human form on Planet Earth just to save Jews, it's the same way that Selassie Christ, being an Ethiopian, did not manifest in human form on Planet Earth just to save, Ethiopians, Africans, or African descended peoples. After all, Christ is Christ, and the Living Christ is for ALL MANKIND! (this is actually the 3rd incarnation of Christ, and not the 2nd, but we'll go into that at a later time once our Collective Consciousness starts to develop enough to a point where we may be better equipped both mentally and spiritually to be able to comprehend and wrap our minds around such ascended principles). So for now, for all the truly BRAVE and FREE minds, hearts, and souls out there who passionately yearn for a truly caring, sharing, wise and compassionate God of Peace, instead of the "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" War-God of the old millennium, let us not forget to mark it clearly and boldly on our calendars, the HOLY-DAY of HOLY-DAYS, November 2nd of each and every year, for the MESSIAH HAS COME! and this day for all Rastafarians (the truly REBORN CHRISTIANS) is not only a National Holy-Day, but rather it is one huge, enormous, gigantic, global, International Holy-Day...for the MESSIAH HAS COME!!! so come November 2nd, let us shout it out in ONE thunderous and rejoiceful voice at the four corners of Planet Earth, HAPPY CORONATION DAY for the MESSIAH HAS COME!!! the MESSIAH HAS COME!!! As I have stated before, His Imperial Majesty (H.I.M.) has not just returned to save Africans and African descendants, for He has come to gather up ALL MANKIND; for many of us, our consciences have been bogged down with the excess baggage of guilt, doubt and negativity gathered from the ignorance and mis-guided "teachings" of the old millennium...when we place His Majesty to sit upon His rightful and royal throne of our LIVING HEAVENS ( the Conscious Mind, Heart, and Soul), we'll find that we have a truly new chance, a brand new day, a totally clean slate, a crystal clear conscience, a great new beginning, a working means of letting go of negative thought patterns of guiltiness gathered over generations... If ever there was a day we should not bow down to the supposedly "almighty dollar", then this is the day, November 2nd...again I say, mark it on your calendars and remember it well, for it is the HOLY-DAY of HOLY-DAYS in this the new millennium, in this the new Age of Aquarius the Water-Bearer, whose mission it is to pour out the old, polluted waters and replace it with crystal clear streams of true and living God-Consciousness...HAPPY CORONATION DAY! HAPPY CORONATION DAY to ONE AND ALL!!! For His Imperial Majesty cares not if you are black, white, yellow red, or brown; whether you are Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jew, Sikh, Buddhist, Taoist, Mason, Agnostic, or Atheist; He cares not about which "red or blue" gang you belong to, whether Crips or Bloods, or Democrats and Republicans; He cares not whether you are a Communist or a Capitalist, a Patriot or a Terrorist (for some Americans may consider Al Qaeda as terrorists and our troops as patriots, while some Muslims consider Al Qaeda as patriots and our troops as terrorists, it's all a matter of perspective), ...ALL ARE WELCOME to come and wash themselves clean in His Imperial Majesty's crystal clear stream of true and living God-Consciousness. ALL ARE INVITED to come and wash the blood-stains from off of their hands, and to piece back together their broken hearts, and to search together AS ONE in order to find again their sacred souls within that they have lost touch with over the generations of falsely worshipping that deceiving fallen angel who has for so long disguised himself as that "War-God" who continues to spread his poisonous and way out-dated old testament "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" false doctrines. Believe you me, and I say again, if our Lord and Savior had come from out of the Vatican, or out of Israel, or out of Buckingham, or out of the White House, we would see H.I.M. all over our television sets on a daily basis. Instead, all we see of Ethiopia on the television sets of the westernized counter-cultures of the world are the deliberately degrading images of poor, starving, hungry-bellied children. For Ethiopia is much, much more than this my brothers and sisters...it is the NEW JERUSALEM of this the new millennium Age of Aquarius. The Ark of the Covenant rests in Axum, Ethiopia, and the POWER has shifted from Israel and Rome back to it's original resting place, Africa; for all things and all ones began in Africa, and as it was in the beginning so shall it SURELY be in the end! For the Lion is not sleeping and He sees the pain and the suffering of His people at the hands of the worshippers of that "War-God", even as recently as last month in Louisiana after the catastrophic disaster of Hurricane Katrina. I recommend to those of you who truly wish to see Ethiopia in her majestic light to read a book called THE AFRICAN ARK by Angela Fisher, great book for those "white belts" who are at the beginning stages of the journey towards the truly progressive Selassie Christ Consciousness of the new millennium...remember, come November 2nd, let us make a joyful noise unto H.I.M. in one great big "terrible and dreadful" voice HAPPY CORONATION DAY for the MESSIAH HAS COME! the MESSIAH HAS COME! THE MEXICAN FISHERMAN ......There is this great little story about a Mexican fisherman which my beautiful lady, Malena (Maria-Elena), shared with me that I thought was so, so very real that I just have to share it with you all. As you have probably guessed by now, Malen' is of Mexican descent, going way back through the lines of the original Zapotec and Aztec tribes of the Americas...... ......Before I started dating her, I never really paid attention to some of the ignorant views that some ignorant people have toward Mexican people. For example, some of these people will say things like, "why don't they go back to their own country"? Such remarks are made because every year, here in Southern California, the amount of Mexicans coming across the "U.S. border" seem to be increasing in leaps and bounds...... ......It's getting so that if you don't speak Spanish in some parts of Southern California, you will eventually come to a point where you will experience a language barrier if you don't "habla"; and that's quite OK with me. However, it seems to be p***ing off "some" people around "these here parts" ;0) who complain about "those people" taking "our" jobs when they don't even want to do the kinds of jobs that our proud but humble Mexican brothers and sisters will do in order to support their families, so then what's the beef anyways?!...... ......The funniest thing in all this is that when these same people in their ignorance say, "why don't those Mexicans go back home"? The funniest thing is that they are in fact already "home" because California, Arizona, New Mexico, and even Barbara Bush's beloved Texas (that's a whole 'nother story about Barbara that I'll speak of in next month's issue...first things first), all these States named above were once considered MEXICO. Again, through warfare, the descendants of the Colonialist powers, brutally and forcefully took these lands away from the people of Mexico in fine style and tradition...and let me guess, once again, "God told them to do it"...... ......For those of you who do not know "American his-story", this is what the war between Hollywood's often depicted "hero", Davy Crockett, and the often depicted "villain", Mexico's General Santa Ana, was all about. The "Texians" (as they were called back then) built a fort called the Alamo in Mexico (now called Texas) that General Santa Ana understandably did not care too much for. In 1836 he overwhelmed Davy Crockett and his buddies at the Alamo. In turn, after much bloodshed, the Texians declared that part of Mexico as Texas in 1845, taking along with it California, Arizona and New Mexico...so the next time you drive through the city of Santa Ana, or you are affected by the dreaded "Santa Ana winds" (yes, the same winds that spread those huge firestorms in Southern California every year), you will know exactly where that name, Santa Ana, came from...... ......Malena has six sisters and three brothers, and when they have a family get-together there's at least fifty people there between brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, grand-sons, grand-daughters cousins, etc., and let's not forget the matriarch of the family, Rosalia, or as I affectionately call her "Mamacita". It's a beautiful thing to behold the warmth, the culture, and the human interaction amongst them...poetry in motion...... ......I was in Jamaica this year, in Mexico last year, and in Thailand a few years ago (before the tsunami of '04). Some of the things I found that all these people have in common is their warmth and compassion, their humble spirits, their easy-going lifestyles, a closeness to and an affinity with nature, a fierce pride in their simplicity, an unsurpassable richness of culture, and smiling eyes...... ......I said all that to say this, there definitely are some things about gadgets, engines, and devices that we can learn from the technology of the "snow-people" cultures of our brothers and sisters from the Northern-most parts of our beloved Planet Earth, but there is definitely some things about minds, hearts and souls that we can learn from the simple humanity of the "sun-people" of the Tropical parts of our beloved Planet Earth... Without further adieu, I now present the story of the Mexican Fisherman...... ......Once upon a time, "A boat docked in a tiny Mexican village. An American tourist, who was a consultant, complimented the Mexican fisherman on the quality of his fish and asked him how long it took him to catch them....... ......'Not very long,' answered the Mexican...... ......'But then, why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?' asked the American...... ......The Mexican explained that his small catch was sufficient to meet his needs and those of his family...... ......The American asked, 'But what do you do with the rest of your time?'...... ......'I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, and take a siesta with my wife. In the evenings, I go into the village to see my friends, have a few drinks, play the guitar, and sing a few songs. I have a full life.'...... ......The American interrupted, 'I have a MBA from Harvard and I can help you! You should start by fishing longer every day. You can then sell the extra fish you catch. With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat.'...... ......'And after that?' asked the Mexican...... ......'With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers. Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant. You can then leave this little village and move to Mexico City, Los Angeles, oe even New York City! From there you can direct your huge new enterprise.'...... ......'How long would that take?' asked the Mexican...... ......'Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years,' replied the American...... ......'And after that?'...... ......'Afterwards? Well my friend, that's when it gets really interesting,' answered the American, laughing...... ......'When your business gets really big, you can start selling stocks and make millions!'...... ......'Millions? Really? And after that?' said the Mexican...... ......'After that you'll be able to retire, live in a tiny village near the coast, sleep late, play with your children, catch a few fish, take a siesta with your wife, and spend your evenings drinking and enjoying your friends.'. The End"...... ......And the moral is: Know where you are going in life. You may already be there. What's the use really in going through excruciating pressure and stress to gain millions when by the time you achieve it your children are all grown up and gone away from you because you never had the time to play with them while pursuing the millions...besides, most people get so much more old and disease-ridden because of their hot pursuit of the millions ($$$) that they are usually not in good enough health to truly enjoy it...... ......To make a long story short, a wise man once said, "What's the use you gain the whole world only to lose your precious soul?"...... 4. OPERATION DESERT ASPARAGUS?! One of the songs on the album is called STOP THE WAR! simply because I am sick and tired of every time I turn around there is some war going on in some part of the world...... ......As an astute historian, some of the most important things that I have come to realize about wars are:- 1) where there is a war, there is the gold (these days that's "black gold"), and 2) things are not always what they seem...... ......I know my writing is extremely controversial to some and I like it that way, and JAH love it that way, for I say only what JAH tell I to say. I offer different views on everyday subjects than the "television reporters" for there is always two sides to every story. Most people are so lazy, or just don't have the time to think for themselves, so they allow these televison reporters to "think" for them...... ......I do not write because I hate America, or hate our troops, but quite on the contrary; for after all, who are our troops?! are they not our sons and daughters? our brothers and sisters? our husbands and wives? our grand-sons and grand-daughters? our nephews and nieces? our friends and lovers? I have two beautiful children who were born in New York, USA. They are American citizens from birth...therefore, how could I hate Americans? More than anything I care for the welfare of my children, and I fear for their safety when they are in other countries due to bad decision making, bad policy making, and outdated "John Wayne poli-tricks" on the part of our leaders...... ......What I hate more than anything is the deadly combination of greed and ignorance, and how the government of this beautiful country is running things from an extremely shady perspective, and I think by now, even a vast majority of our troops would agree with me. How much longer can we remain ignorant of the truth of what's happening right before our very eyes?! The satisfaction of the greed of the few can only continue to be satisfied because of the manufactured and televised ignorance of the many....... .......I have heard the word "neo-con" so much recently that I have got to break it down and SEE what that really means; for "neo" means "new", and does "con" just mean "con", or the "new-age con-man"? Whatever it means, these "neo-cons" religiously rely on certain "newscasters, reporters, and analysts" to give them their version, or "spin", on the present war "shituation" in Iraq. They rely on these versions of the war from "reliable" sources like say for example, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Joe Scarborough, and others of that mis-guided ilk...... ......Let us not forget that after Viet Nam, everyone, and especially young Americans, were totally sick and tired of war. It really seemed as though the human race would finally be set to embark on a journey of attaining a higher frequency of humanity and brotherhood, and a truly higher STATE OF GOD-CONSCIOUSNESS, amongst their fellow man worldwide without regards to false man-made "borders, boundaries, and barriers". Nobody, and I mean nobody wanted to go to war ever again after Viet Nam!...... ......Unfortunately, that is bad news for people whose biggest money-maker is tanks, guns, bombs, ammunition, and war-planes, etc. Yes, extremely bad news for the "Lords of War". It is especially bad news for Texas oil barons who want to get their greedy and bloody little hands on the natural resources of other peoples' countries, whatever the cost in human lives...God alone really knows what happened to JFK on his ride through Texas on that fateful day in '63. "BIG OIL" sticks together...that's why the Bush family and the Saudis are the very best of friends, no doubt about it. My good brother, Michael Moore, hit the proverbial nail squarely on the head with his film, FAHRENHEIT 9-11!...... ......Let's not forget that it was grand-daddy, Senator Prescott Bush, who was one of the main financiers of Adolph's Hitler's war against the Jews, through his NY based Union Banking Corporation...oh what a wicked web of deceit we weave. It was this "blood-money" that formed the foundation of the Bush family fortune. A wise man once said, "Whatsoever it is that ye sow, it is the very same that ye shall reap"....... ......Yet when we turn on our television sets and tune in to their "his-story" channel, what we see are endless documentaries of how evil Hitler was, but never ever one mention of how just as evil (if not more so) Prescott Bush was for readily supplying him with the funds which enabled him to build his by now infamous gas-chambers. Bush was not any different than Hitler in his unquenchable thirst for power, he just didn't want people to know that he actually held similar views as Hitler, if not by words then by actions...and we all know that actions speak louder than words...... ......Therefore, he and his cronies remained behind the scenes, while allowing Hitler to take the "spotlight" so to speak and therefore also to take the public blame for the "annihilation of the Jews"; Hitler could never have done it without Prescott Bush's Union Banking Corporation. His company's assets were eventually seized in 1942 under the "Trading With The Enemy Act"...... ......One of the other companies he was linked with, the Consolidated Silesian Steel Company, even employed slave labour from Auschwitz to do hard labour in their steel mines. These inexcusable actions of the "good Senator" have resulted in a civil suit being brought against the Bush family by two of the surviving Jewish slave labourers who were victims of that very heinous time sixty years ago...... ......Prescott was definitely one smart cookie. Unfortunately for us and the American people on the whole, the apple doesn't fall very far from the tree. Being a musician, it's not a very difficult picture to comprehend...the musicians are propped up on the stage (in this case, Hitler), while the managers stay behind the scenes (in this case, "Prescy")...... ......Saddam Hussein was originally accused of harboring Al Qaeda terrorists in Iraq, and of being in possession of the ever-popular "weapons of mass destruction". As far as I can see, there were never any Al Qaeda terrorists in Iraq when Saddam was in power. They all seem to have gone there after George W. sent our children over there to occupy their land over some oil. To this day there were never found any weapons of mass destruction. They are all in America, and the CIA well and knew that Saddam had gotten rid of all his "weapons of mass destruction" (given to him by the American government in the first place, mind you) by the mid 90s...maybe if he still had them, George W. would never had pulled such an irrational stunt as to go as far as to invade Iraq...... ......I don't know how many of you remember, but when the troops were first sent into Iraq, the "manouever" was called Operation Iraqi Liberation, or O.I.L. Bush's advisors advised him to change the name because it was too blatantly revealing as to the true intention of the war in Iraq. It was quickly changed to Operation Iraqi Freedom, or OIF, but not quickly enough for the prophetical eyes of the Rastafarian community...... ......Sometimes I find myself slipping and feeling sorry for old George W., for it must be really difficult for him to always do what Cheney and Rumsfeld tell him to do, but that never lasts for too long, and I catch myself quick when I remember good old Prescott. In the exact same way Prescott remained behind the scenes in the case of Hitler's gas chambers, it's the very same way George W. continues to remain behind the scenes in the COMING DOWN of the WORLD TRADE TOWERS on 9/11...no, I didn't stutter, stammer, nor blink!...... ......They knew that they could not get peace-loving Americans to go and fight any crazy "OIL-WAR" in Iraq on their behalf, not after the fiasco of Viet Nam...so they had to come up with a plan to "stir up the hornet's nest" so to speak. They had to come up with a plan that would absolutely infuriate Americans to the point of "Bushite patriotism"...In other words,"what's the difference if we send 30,000 to die on foreign soil in Viet Nam, or 3,000 to die right here in the twin towers in NYC as long as it allows us to achieve our OIL-HUNGRY objectives"...... As far as those Arab dudes who could barely fly a small Cessna airplane, much less a large United Airlines commercial jetliner, they just happened to fit in so very neatly with their devious plans for their supposedly own American people. Those Arab dudes became the perfect smokescreen for the unforgiveable actions of the so-called "leaders" of this magnificent country. In short they became another set of "Hitler scapegoats". It's an old tried and tested method of total domination which has been used by this family for over a century now, and it seemed to have worked again. But you know what, even when the people don't see what is obviously right before their very eyes, or they stubbornly refuse to see, JAH SEE EVERYTHING!!! Another wise man once said, "those who do not learn from the mistakes of their past are certainly doomed to repeat them"...... ......Tsk! tsk! tsk! Not only are they stirring up the hornet's nest in America, but all over the world (including the Arab world, BIG-TIME). Because of the new Bush "policies" it's almost like the unfortunate American citizens who have absolutely nothing to do with our President's policy-making, now have to suffer the consequences of having to "look over their shoulders" so to speak when they are the "foreigners" in other countries of the world. I don't want my children to have to feel like this, do you want yours to have to feel like this?! My children hold American passports for God's sake!...... ......My very good brethren, a fellow Jamaican, lost his sister who worked in the World Trade Towers on 9/11. My brethren is an extremely strong, tenacious and courageous man who has been the undisputable victor in many varied life and death situations, and it brought a great pain to my heart to have had to be in his presence and witness the reaction of his tears when he received the shocking news of his sister's premature and unecessary passing...... ......How many firemen who were in those buildings have we heard being interviewed since then? how many times have they told us that there were other multiple explosions in the bottom of the buildings when the planes hit the top of the buildings? How many times do we have to see the television images of the "mysterious" smoke-trails coming up from the bottoms of the buildings? when we are all more than fully aware by now that the planes hit the tops of the buildings? These are the same kind of explosions you would hear, and the same kinds of smoke trails you would see, when demolition teams plant huge amounts of explosives to bring down huge hotels and buildings in Vegas that no longer have any use to the people who were "using" them...... ......How many structural engineers have we heard being interviewed since then? How many times have they told us that jet-fuel does not burn hot enough to melt steel in that way? How many times must they tell us that never in the history of mankind has any building ever fell so completely to the ground because of a plane crashing into it? How many times do they have to tell us that buildings that come down like that, so "artistically" are always (not "almost always" but ALWAYS) the work of very skilled, very professional, demolition experts. Come on now, we all know how Al Qaeda uses bombs by now, they are just NOT that "highly skilled" NOR that "calculatingly professional".......How many times do they have to tell us that this whole thing wreaks of "inside job" before we finally get it...... ......Many of us are so accustomed in this day and age to having our computers and calculators do all of our calculating for us, even the simplest of calculations; So much so that simple math like, "how much is 12 times 48 divided by 8"? can be a really great problem for a vast majority of us. (the answer is "72" by the way). It's as if our brains have been deceivingly lulled into a regressive state of "cyber-dormancy" by the over-use of and over-dependency on these robotic machines; so much so that although we may APPEAR smarter (because of the having these machines at our disposal) we are actually NOT...... ...... And that's exactly how some people in "high-places" would love us all to be. In other words, if we were living in the times of our great grand-parents when there were no computers and calculators, and everyones' brains were still somewhat working by that rare essential in this day and age known as "common sense" we would all have way figured it out by now without any insecure feelings of doubt and guilt pretty much like the rest of the so-called "3rd world countries" who do not have a lot of computers and calculators in their possession, and therefore still retain in leaps and bounds the rare essential known as "common sense". Come on now people, I know you all want to be "patriotic" and all that, but we don't have to be rocket scientists here when the truth of what happened is staring us cold in the face, even with smug little smirks on their faces to boot....... ......I know, I know...,"But that's our Rummy, and that's our Dicky, and that's our George W......". Remember, "the apple doesn't fall very far from the tree"...and "where there is war, there is gold (in this case "black gold")...and, "where there is war, things are never really as they appear to be"...talk about magicians, and sleight of hand...... ......Where there is no vision the people shall surely perish. Good God! when are we going to wake up from out of the twisted "visions" of the "neo-cons"?! I never really got it before now. I have always heard his name associated with "doubting Thomas" according to the teachings of the Catholic church but like everyone else just automatically took it for granted that he was the proverbial "bad-guy" because he doubted Jesus' teachings, and so I fell into the Vatican trap and just never bothered to investigate it any further...... ......Now I know that they called him "doubting Thomas" because he was actually the only one who GOT IT! concerning the teachings of Jesus...... ......These are the same teachings that the African Pharaoh was teaching to the ancestors of the Jews way back when "Christ" in his original African form was "Krst". She pledged her undying love for the Dread, she said bshe rather Dread than Fedb. When asked, what did she mean by this? She said bHoney I watched for two hours simply knocked for six (astonished), the Dread moved across the stage sounding sweet and looking sexy and all that, I just think Mikey Dread is Sweeter than Sweets, if thatbs so.
