Monique turned 21 this year and is in her second year at Boalt Hall School of Law at UC Berkeley and will intern this summer in Washington, DC for the firm, Morgan Lewis http://www.morganlewis.com . Last summer she was selected to intern for Judge Curtis Gomez of the District Court of the United States Virgin Islands St. Thomas- St. Croix-St. John. Additionally, she is a member of California Law Review and active in a few student organizations. She managed to find time to get hoe for Thanksgiving! As I write this message she's enroute to St. John to meet her new little brother, Lennon her fourth brother born December 7. Lincoln is 15 now and excels in practically everything he does! He has had a rigorous course of study in 11th grade on St. John taking mostly Honors classes and earned a 4.25 GPA! He has started a Tennis Club at his school and has been practicing with an NBC Newscaster at Caneel Bay Courts this week. He ran for Student Body President missing by only four votes and ran Cross Country. This past year he was selected by Congresswoman Donna Christenson (D) to serve on a panel of youth leaders. In June he attended UCLA Tennis Camp and headed to Boston in July to participate in a Leadership Conference at Bentley College. He, his childhood friend Akira Bradley and I headed up to spend a week camping at Thornhill Broome Beach for our third year. He is getting ready to take the SAT's and has been touring College Campuses on the mainland from his Virgin Islands home. This has been a year of recognition for me for which I am truly grateful. \Most of all I'd like to thanks my family, my friends, my teachers and my creator for all of your sacrifices on my account. No words can thank you enough for all you do for me. In addition to finishing my professional studio, I was deeply moved to receive International Artist at the Joe Higgs Music Awards in Miami, Florida December 8. I returned to National University in October and have completed two courses in Educational Administration. I have seven more classes to go but hold an A average so far. When finished, there's an exam to take to get an Administrative Credential. I find the courses particularly interesting with 24 years experience and being that I have moved to a brand new state of the art Elementary School where I teach Full-Day Kindergarten for Los Angeles Unified School District. On Saturday Night March 10, 2007 I'll be performing with Marcia Higgs in Cambridge, MA at the famous Western Front to celebrate International Women's Day (March 8) in a Show attributed to Harriet Tubman titled, "Revolutionary Women In Reggae" I will also return to Western Front on Saturday, June 2, 2007 for the Fifth Annual Father of Reggae Joe Higgs Show.
