The Gladiators have a distinctive sound that they maintain to this day and consistently sell out shows worldwide with their high energy, conscious and powerful music. The Gladiators' founder, Albert Griffiths, has been in the process of turning the band over to his two sons he knows are capable of carrying on this musical heritage. Al Griffiths has taken over the lead vocals and his voice is virtually indistinguishable from his father's as can be heard on their latest release "Father and Sons." Anthony Griffiths is on drums setting the pace for the band. These two young reggae warriors have proven both live and in the studio that they are fully competent and are infusing a new, youthful energy and substance to carry The Gladiators' legacy into the future. They are poised and ready to spread their message to the rest of the world! Original Gladiators members, Gallimore Sutherland on rhythm guitar and background vocals and Clinton Rufus on lead guitar will grace this lineup which includes a horn section. For more information, check out www.GladiatorsBand.com Roots daughter, Zema, will be performing with the Gladiators on this tour promoting her fifth and latest album, "Overcome" on the Melchizedek Music label that features The Gladiators, Sly and Robbie, Abijah, Mark Wonder and showcases her talents as a singer/songwriter, musician and producer. Zema's music is available at Ernie B's Reggae (www.ebreggae.com ) and Amazon.com. For more info, please check www.ZemaZema.com . But we ARE BACK!! B&M Records (www.myspace.com/bmrecords168 ) proudly presents the radio pre-release of DOUBLE IMPACT... the simultaneous radio release of two excellent singles... "CRY AFRICA" by Isiah Mentor (www.myspace.com/isiahmentor ) and "CAUGHT UP" by Kahnahkah Harmony (www.myspace.com/kahnahkaharmony ). I am sure you are aware of the current situation in Darfur, Sudan (africa). Wether or not you are, please read the attached word doc file titled Darfur and a brief idea will form in your mind.. Isiah Mentor of FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT fame is back with a briliiant song in support of stopping the atrocities taking place in Sudan. Recorded at Yaadnoyz Studio in Matawan New Jersey under the guidance of B&M producer Maurice 'Ranger' Walker and engineered by Roger Edwards, the song is guaranteed to touch the hearts of all. Be sure to keep us up-to-date on the feedback. Stevie Wonder sung about it as have others, now the gifted voice of Kahanahkah Harmony has been added to the call to stop the physical abuse of our women. 'Some men put hands on their cars and put their foot on the ladies....' need I say anymore? After PROTECT THE CHILDREN, MAKE A LIFE and BURNING ROME feat. IWAYNE, Harmony is now ready to take his place on the reggae battle field to fight for truth, rights and justice for all. Let us know what you think. Both MP3 files are attached. If you however prefer to received a promotional CD, please reply to this email with you name, mailing address and of course we would love to hear what you think about the songs. His collaboration with RED CAFÉ, titled CHILDREN OF THE GHETTO is getting great feedback within the Reggae community. The song has futher been serviced via MP3¹s to mixshow DJ¹s who are also embracing the song. DJ ENUFF has been playing it on HOT 97 always a power move that indicates a hit in the making! CHILDREN OF THE GHETTO is definitely on the rise. If you haven¹t heard it already you can check it out on myspace by visiting: http://www.myspace.com/rudegal. If you¹re a DJ that hasn¹t gotten the MP3 for any reason, just email RudeGal at: rudegal@rudegal.com. One of the riddim¹s Easy recorded on in the last six months was just released by VP Records. The riddim compilation, the POWER CUT riddim was produced by Stephen McGregor (acclaimed recording artist Freddie McGregor¹s son) for Big Ship Records. The POWER CUT riddim is the riddim that boasts the lyrical war between Mavado and Vybz Kartel. Mr. Easy¹s song on the riddim; CRYING was serviced via MP3 to reggae DJs on college radio, community stations, mainstream stations and soundmen approximately six months ago. Mr. Easy¹s song CRYING is not featured on the riddim compilation. If you find you¹re in need, contact RudeGal at: rudegal@rudegal.com for a copy. Mr. Easy¹s new song BIG MAN TINGS featuring one of Dancehall¹s brightest deejays¹ ASSASSIN has been already taking a life of its own. The song is on the newly recorded TREMOR Riddim presently available on vinyl. This was also another musical masterpiece by Stephen McGregor. This song has reached several key players in both the Reggae circles and mainstream circles. It¹s already been played on HOT 97. This song is next to be serviced to DJs. Last month, MR EASY took to the sand to do a cameo in Ce¹Cile¹s upcoming video GOODY for her song on the WHIPE OUT riddim previously released by DangaZone Records. The video was shot to focus promotions on the Japan market as Dancehall¹s DIVA is gearing up for an album in Japan this summer. The video will be release in Caribbean the next two weeks. Further, last month MR EASY and CE¹CILE ventured off to BELIZE joining up with Marlon Asher to perform on a series of successful shows.
